When people want driving lessons The first question they ask is HOW MUCH ? This of course is a very important question but there many more important questions to ask.
- Is the instructor fully qualified ie does have the driving standards agency green licence which should be displayed in the window at all times. Many schools employ trainee instructors which will greatly reduce your chances of passing.
- How much experience does your instructor have, how many test passes to their credit, does he know the area for training and have knowledge of the local test centres.
- Is he/she qualified to carry out more in depth training such as being an instructor trainer.
- Will your instructor be fair, reliable , courteous , a good timekeeper and have a clean reliable car.
- Does he have pupil record cards to manage your progress and have a fixed lesson plan to maximise your time and money.
- Will you be collected door to door and be taught on a one to one basis.
- Will your instructor be flexible and understanding when problems occur.
- Will your instructor have pictures/ diagrams and a telephone/e mail support service.
- Will youre instructor encourage you to book your theory and practical tests in order to structure your training.
- Will your instructor give you a mock driving test prior to your practical test.
